Led by the vision of Pastor Billy Walker, Jr., the goal is the renovation is to reach into the entire downriver community with a vibrant, energetic, inviting church home.
It was a true blessing for Hobson Media to be invited to help with the creative messaging around the project. We were asked to develop a campaign theme, visual elements, videos, and supplementary elements that would help enthuse the congregation, encourage them to give generously to the capital campaign, and convey an overall sense of the tremendous potential for Calvary Church to minister to families throughout the Southgate area.
After much planning, conversation, prayer, and meetings with church leadership, “Project Impact” was born and launched in the fall of 2016. The original event was a church-wide banquet where the vision was presented to the Calvary family and all were invited to be part of the exciting effort. The launch event helped raise nearly $450k toward the project and the campaign continues to see wonderful results as the dust flies every day at the future home of Calvary Church!
